How ironic that foreign lands are stumbling to the light while Steven Harper and his ilk are striving mightily to put it out.
What a surprise, Harper has vowed to dismantle what has been described as “ the most progressive, democratic campaign finance laws in the world”.
Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Lawrence Cannon has just said ” We urge the Egyptian government to ensure full freedom of political expression for it’s citizens”, to bad they don’t feel the same about Canadians right to protest, after all who could forget the disgrace that was the G20 and how they handled Canada’s peaceful protesters.
Has Canada ever had such a secretive, incompetent, undemocratic, unaccountable government with the constant stream of lies, disinformation, scandals, secrecy and manipulations that comes out of Ottawa, total unaccountability, prorogue, G20, Afghanistan, climate change, the environment, to name just a few.
It is clear by the lowbrow antics of Prime Minister Harper and his Neanderthals that they think ethics are some British grunge band.
Mr. Harper who is quite comfortable taking credit where credit isn’t due, and recklessly playing fast and loose with Canada’s democracy, political traditions, voters trust, economy, and last but not least Canada’s reputation and very place in the world.
Other than build a bunch of new prisons to put all those unreported criminals, pot smokers and cannabis growers and lets not forget all those degenerate protesters, what has he done?
It is time for Canada to travel the high road once again, so I can once more be proud of my country.
P.S. OH Joy, now they have a majority, hang on folks the ride is about to get even bumpier.
